As we announced last month, we now have two employees winning our Employee of the Month Award to adequately celebrate all of the great work being done by our people daily.

So, for February, we are excited to announce the two winners are Karen Forbes and James Walton.

Karen Forbes joined Spectrum on October 10, 2018, five years and five months ago. She began at Schuh’s Head Office, but in June 2020, she took on an additional site in Livingston.

Our client at Schuh nominated Karen for the February award, citing “her exemplary work and consistent standards”. Confirming what the client said about Karen was her Manager, Lynne Graham, who added: “Karen is reliable and extremely hard-working; she gets along very well with all of her colleagues and the clients at both the sites where she works, Well Done Karen.”

Our second winner is James Walton, who works at the Scottish Ambulance Service depot in Leven and has been with Spectrum since September 1, 2022.

James’s performance has caught the eye of two of our management team. Area Manager, Ashleigh McEleney, and Regional Manager Gemma Pollock were delighted to put his name forward for the February award.

Speaking about his nomination and win, Ashleigh said: “The team leaders and client talk very highly of James; he has excellent attendance and timekeeping and consistently achieves very high standards.

“He does a fantastic job and I have had such good feedback from the team leader regarding his work ethic and cleaning standards.”
