It is amazing to browse our client list and consider the massive range of sectors we work in and the vast array of work these companies do. What’s even more notable is the impressive work some are doing in research and development to make a genuine difference to the planet!
One example is our client Baker Hicks, the international consultancy, engineering and project management company currently working on the CC3 Bovaer Project for dsm-firmenich.
dsm-firmenich is a purpose-led company that supplies science-based products, services, and groundbreaking innovations fundamental to the health, well-being, and sustainability of farm animals.
One of their current projects is the development of Bovaer®, a proven solution for reducing methane in cattle. We love to think we play a part in this project. Here’s why.
We recently received a glowing report from Kevin Green, the Construction Supervisor on the Bovaer Project; here is the email he recently sent to Spectrum’s Ally Love, Regional Operations Manager (West):
“First of all, I would like to thank you for the fantastic team you and your team at Spectrum have put together on the CC3 Bovaer Project. Over the years, I have managed many project facilities with regard to the cleaning regimes required, and I would like to say your cleaning team on the Bovaer project is up there with the best I have managed.
“When your team is asked to facilitate and carry out any dirty jobs, they do not hesitate and get stuck in to complete the task to the best of their ability (The Jobs no one would like to carry out). The team you have on the project keep the place very clean, which shows in the comments on the care cards completed by the project management team and contractors.
“I would also like to thank you for putting such a wonderful supervisor (Wendy Waite) in place to control your staff and organise everything to do with cleaning. Wendy is very proactive and thorough in the tasks she carries out, from cleaning to running a tight ship.
“Once again, what a fantastic team. Many Thanks”
We really appreciate it when clients take the time to acknowledge what we do; it provides a real boost to the team. And while they may not be part of the cutting-edge team delivering solutions to methane gas reduction, they are playing their small part in the whole process!
