At Spectrum, we frequently get involved in charity events and fundraising activities, having recently provided our services for Sleep in the Park 2018 and The Kiltwalk 2018. However this time, one of our team is getting involved at the heart of the action.
Jill Keenan, Business Development Manager, will be getting her dancing shoes on for St Vincent’s Hospice award nominated event ‘Strictly Come Prancing’. The event takes place on Friday 15th March at Ingliston Country Club in Bishopton. Jill, who works at our Paisley office, will be taking on an energetic Jive routine with her dance partner Mark. They will be performing to the Elvis hit ‘Jailhouse Rock’ to help raise funds and awareness for the work St Vincent’s Hospice carry out daily. Both Jill and Mark have had little dance experience, but are training hard and are keen to impress the judges who will be looking for a fast dance with lots of precise, sharp footwork.
Jill and Mark have worked closely with the hospice in the past and therefore have a great understanding of how important the hospice is to individuals and families in the local community. The pair, who are one of thirteen couples taking part, are hoping to raise vital funds for the important work of St Vincent’s Hospice. The charity helps to provide access to the best possible care and support to everyone living with a life-limiting illness.
