Since March 2020, Spectrum has been working hard to keep buildings clean so that our client’s staff can operate safely. We are proud that we have supported many businesses with ‘essential’ status, enabling them to fulfil their vital roles.
However, we are especially proud to be working with the NHS and playing a part in the direct fight to control the pandemic. This week we are preparing to begin work at a new vaccination centre in Bathgate, within the Pyramids Business Park. Providing our services in vaccination centres is a real privilege. Our cleaning teams are delighted to be providing their expertise in what is a mammoth operation to roll out the vaccination across the country.
The Pyramids is a multi-occupancy business centre with which we are very familiar; we have provided their cleaning services for a number of years. However, it’s partial conversion to a vaccination centre brings additional demands to that of the daily operation we usually offer.
We will be providing staff to clean and sanitise the vaccination centre. Daily services will include a core clean; this will be supplemented by constant sanitisation of vaccination booths, observation areas, waiting areas and all toilet and welfare areas. We will also remove waste from all areas, and we will be providing ongoing sanitary services and replenishing consumables.
Operating within a vaccination centre environment requires the highest possible levels of safety and continuity; to achieve this, Spectrum cleaning teams will work in bubbles, implementing our COVID protocols, social distancing measures and all staff will undergo regular lateral flow testing.
We are delighted to support the NHS and fulfil all of the requirements quickly and efficiently. The enormity of the task to vaccinate the whole population cannot be overstated. Due to become operational on Monday 15th February, The Pyramids will have 34 vaccination stations and will operate 7 days per week. We are pleased to be part of the operation for which the NHS cannot be too highly praised.
