Those of you who follow Spectrum through our various social media outlets will have seen that it’s been a pretty eventful year for us – not that we’re complaining.
Throughout the year we’ve had the privilege of working at a number of major events including the likes of BBC at the Quay, the Scottish Open, and mostly recently, the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. All this on top of our regular work.
It would be fair to say that 2014 has been a great year for Spectrum.
But it now looks as though the year could get even better as we’ve learned we’ve been shortlisted for four categories at this year’s ROCCO (Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce) awards.
The categories we’ve made the shortlist for include: Excellence in Customer Service, Family Business of the Year, Journey to Zero Waste, and Outstanding Performing Business >25 staff.
We were fortunate enough to attend the very same event last year and it was quite a night. Hopefully this year we can walk away with some awards as well as have a good night.
This year we hope to retain that crown and be named the family business of the year for the third year running, which would be a magnificent accomplishment.
However, putting winning awards to one side, to be nominated for four categories is an amazing achievement and is testament to the hard and outstanding work of all the team at Spectrum this past year.
Our team puts their everything into all they do. There’s a real sense of pride in the work they carry out and not job is too big for them, their sleeves are always rolled up and ready to get stuck in. Without doubt we could not achieve what we have, and win the contracts we have without them. They are at the heart of our success and future of Spectrum.
