Our work spans across a variety of sectors, sizes of businesses and indeed building types. Over the years we have worked in some very interesting spaces including one of our most recent contract wins, the V&A Dundee Museum. However, it isn’t always shiny new buildings our team work in, we also have the pleasure of working in some fascinating historic buildings throughout Scotland too.
We are delighted to have recently started working with the Templeton On The Green, an iconic building overlooking Glasgow Green. Previously known as Templeton Carpet Factory, the distinctive red sandstone building was opened in 1892. It operated as a carpet factory until 1984 when it was converted into Templeton Business Centre which currently hosts a mix of facilities including apartments, offices, and the well-known WEST Brewery, restaurant and bar. In 2005 it was further modified during a £22 million regeneration project to enhance the building as a ‘lifestyle village’, making it one of Glasgow’s most desirable leisure, office and residential spaces.
Whilst it is very interesting to work in historic buildings which boast so much character, it is also important for us to ensure we carry out our work whilst respecting the age of the building. Spaces such as the Templeton require rigorous maintenance and the highest level of care to preserve its beauty and let residents and visitors enjoy the building safely and comfortably.
As with all our cleaning solutions, we ensure each space is treated individually and is given the unique care and attention it needs. Each and every premises or event we work on is assessed and given its own cleaning schedule to meet our own exceptional standards. Using the best people, premium products and the latest technologies we can provide excellent, measurable results. In order to keep the Templeton building in its rightful state, we will be delivering cleaning and janitorial services, as well as providing consumables. As always, our approach with the building is highly flexible and our solutions are not set in stone to ensure a reliable and adaptable method of meeting the demands of an ever-changing environment.
We are pleased to be playing a part in the maintenance of such an iconic Glasgow building! You can find out more about our work across a range of sectors here.
