Like it or not, for most of us it’s now well and truly back to work. The festive holidays seem like a distant memory as we all return to our desks and get 2016 underway. But, this is not the case at Spectrum, we’re moving to new desks. In fact, we’re moving to a completely new office.

Friday 15th January marks the end of an era for Spectrum, and the start of new and exciting times when we move into our custom-designed office accommodation at Westpoint Business Park in Paisley. The move comes after 12 years of continued growth operating from our offices in the centre of Paisley, we have now outgrown these premises and it’s time to move to offices better suited to our size, and the business operation.

Spectrum has not only grown in size, it has also grown in geographical coverage with many contracts throughout Scotland. It was therefore necessary to ensure our new location is as accessible to our clients as it possibly can be. Situated just off the M8 on the doorstep of Glasgow Airport, we are now very well placed to service the growing client base, wherever in the UK they happen to be. Ample car parking provision also ensures our visitors will be able to park right outside the office.

Of course, location is very important, however the working environment is also something that we were keen to get right. We wanted to ensure our hard working team were provided with a place they enjoy and where they are able to excel – we think we have achieved this. With the help of one of our new clients, Space Solutions, we have created an interior office space that is welcoming, highly functional, and somewhere with which our people can be proud. Space Solutions provided valuable advice and a wealth of experience to ensure the new offices are an asset that will assist productivity and encourages a spirit of excellence in customer service.

We are looking forward to Friday when we move into the new offices, but more than that, we are looking forward to welcoming our clients to the office in the future. We have state-of-the-art equipment and ample meeting space. Much of our success over the years has been the result of meticulous project planning and strong collaboration, now we have the space to continue to do this with our expanding client portfolio.

For now, we have to finish the packing and prepare for Friday’s move, but we hope it will not be too long before we see you in our new offices at Westpoint Business Park.
