The Open is at Royal Liverpool this year, and you could be there; even better, you could be paid for being there!

Spectrum has worked with the R&A at several Open Championships to provide cleaning and litter-picking services, and we’re delighted to be back again for the 2023 Open Championship. At these championships, we are always keen to deliver a benefit to the community by employing and training staff who live locally.

Spectrum’s Event Teams are very experienced in providing services to high-traffic events. They will provide full training for the additional temporary local staff we need to service such a large-scale event. So, if you’re a golf fan who’d like to work in the public areas and behind the scenes at this year’s Open, you should consider enrolling with Spectrum. We need you to be available 10th until the 25th of July at Royal Liverpool.

You don’t need any previous experience, but you must be reliable, a good timekeeper, and willing to learn. In addition, we want people to demonstrate good communication skills and attention to detail. In short, we want enthusiastic people with a positive attitude who want to be part of one of the most significant events in the global sporting calendar.

In return, we offer you £10.90 per hour and flexible shifts to suit your availability. You will also be part of ‘Spectrum Superstars’, our bespoke reward and incentive scheme, and you will see ‘behind the scenes’ at one of the most prestigious events on the calendar in 2023.

While these roles are for temporary positions, Spectrum is also keen to attract good people into careers in Facilities Management. Many of our previous temp staff have joined us full-time, some now in management positions.
