In the middle of August, we announced that many members of the Spectrum team were planning to take part in the Shien Night Walk to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. We have been overwhelmed with the response and the amount of money that you have donated to such a deserving cause. To date, the charity has received donations to the sum of £4000, with another £788.50 coming through Gift Aid, which brings the total raised so far to an amazing £4788.50!

Thank you to everyone who donated to our JustGiving page; your support and generosity are heartwarming and greatly appreciated. Thank you also to all of the Spectrum team members who took part and did their part, not only on the night but also in sharing the fundraising event with their friends and family.

You will recall that we did the walk in memory of Claire Rankin, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in June this year. She is missed by all at Spectrum, both for her contribution at work and her personality, which shone brightly at social events. We know she would have been one of the first to join the team, and we are confident she would have raised a glass and expressed her pride in what the team and the donors have achieved.
