Friday night was the big calendar event in Renfrewshire, the ROCCOs 2015. We were delighted to take home the ROCCO Award for Family Business of the Year award, for the second time, at the Normandy Hotel.

As ever the competition for this award was outstanding. We are fortunate to be surrounded by family businesses, generations of whom have invested in growing and developing excellent businesses. It’s an honour to win this award and a testament to our whole team, not just those who are related! It’s the hard work that everyone puts into our business daily that makes us stand out.

We’re no stranger to the tough competition. At the ROCCOs, we’ve been very honoured make the shortlist on a number of occasions, and to take home several awards over the years.

We were delighted to be shortlisted for both the ROCCO Award for Excellence in Customer Services, which we won in 2008, 2010 and 2013, and the ROCCO Award for Family Business of the Year which we won in 2013. We were delighted to be nominated for similar categories at the Scottish Business Awards too this year. Our spot on the ROCCOs shortlist meant this year’s ceremony was hotly anticipated.

As well as drawing together local businesses the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce is known for organising a great night of fun, and supporting local causes too. In support of the Paisley bid for City of Culture 2021 (which incorporates the iconic Paisley print) the awards had their own stylish pattern this year. Our team look forward to these awards every year and having the honour of taking our own Paisley patterned award is fantastic.

2015 has been another year of growth and hard work for our business. Our team have maintained high standards as the business has grown and we are ever grateful to our team, they’re at the heart of our success.
