We are delighted to announce the start of not one, but two great contracts in the retail sector, and the extension of another.
Spectrum Service Solutions won the two new contracts following tender submissions from eight companies to provide Core Cleaning, Waste Management and Pest Control Services for Falkirk Central Retail Park and Kirkcaldy Central Retail Park, both sites are managed by Workman Retail.
Both are extremely busy retail centres and offer all the usual challenges of providing expert services in a public environment.
Falkirk Central Retail Park includes retail giants such as Next, Argos, Boots, TK Maxx and Dunelm, it also incorporates a 3,900 sq m Cineworld cinema complex and a 2,335 sq m Bannatyne’s Health Club, whilst food outlets include, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s and Frank & Benny’s.
At Kirkcaldy Central Retail Park there are also some big retail names like, M&S, Next Boots, Argos and a similar array of food outlets.
Winning these contracts against stiff competition is testament to our understanding of what is required to provide excellent cleaning and waste management services in the retail sector, and in particular or ability to provide our range of services in highly populated public areas.
Our retail environment experience is also proving invaluable for clients like Arnold Clark where we have increased our services to around 15 sites with the recent addition of BMW in Irvine, and Hyundai in Alexandra Parade, Glasgow.
These successes are largely due to our excellent team of people, however it’s not just about being expert in what we do, it is also very much about our ability to understand the demands of the environments our clients operate in. With all of these recent contract wins the client has been impressed with the focus we put on their business and our ability to tailor a cleaning and waste management solution that suits their operation.
Our teams are already in place at each of these new contracts where hopefully we are already demonstrating to the client the benefits of shopping around.
