Spectrum are proud to be delivering Cleaning and Waste Management for the upcoming Glasgow 2018 European Championships. The Championships  will be held from 2 to 12 August at locations throughout Glasgow and Scotland, whilst  Berlin will host  the European Athletics Championships from 7 to 12 August.

Numerous sporting events will take place throughout the Championships. Spectrum will be providing services for the Triathlon and Rowing events at Strathclyde Country Park, Track Cycling at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, BMX at Knightswood Park, Synchronised Swimming at Scotstoun Sports Campus, Swimming at Tollcross International Swimming Centre, Mountain Bike at Cathkin Braes, and the Cycling Road Race at Glasgow Green/Glasgow City Centre.

Alongside the sporting events, Glasgow 2018  will also see the city’s  iconic George Square transformed into the beating heart of the cultural festival. The festival will bring the city centre to life through a programme that will put Glasgow and Scotland’s world class cultural and creative contribution in the spotlight. Spectrum will be also be facilitating the cleaning and waste management of this area.

All eyes will be on Glasgow during the Championships and Spectrum are looking forward to providing their services across these 9 locations at an exciting time for the city.
