This week, we feel like we’ve been on the X Factor as we’re going through the final stages before the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2013 (ROCCO).

We’re sure the other nominees feel the same, presenting their companies, getting put on the spot and answering some tricky questions in front of the panel of judges.

We are delighted to announce that we have been short-listed for two awards at the 10th annual ROCCOs, sponsored by Life Technologies!

The Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce plays a very important role in creating prosperity in Renfrewshire.

The work that they do ensures the area is firmly placed in the commercial spotlight, making it the place to do business.

They aim to work and represent members as they grow their businesses, develop new technologies, create employment and diversity in Renfrewshire, and seek funding for further growth.

One of the awards which we’ve been nominated for is the ROCCO Award for Excellence in Customer Service, sponsored by Intu Braehead.

We’ve also been short-listed for ROCCO Award for Family Business of the Year, sponsored by The Malcolm Group.

The awards take place on Friday 15th November 2013 at the Normandy Hotel, Renfrewshire, where the winners will be announced. It’s the largest business event in Renfrewshire and attracts almost 500 people annually, hosted by Fred MacAulay.

Our long term Management and Admin Team from Head Office will be attending the Event. It’s something we look forward to every year!

At Spectrum Service Solutions we love being part of the Renfrewshire Chamber and supporting our local community through use of local supply chains, working with Invest in Renfrewshire to provide graduate opportunities, working with Renfrewshire Council to up-skill employees and also the use of local companies.

The ROCCOs also raise thousands of pounds for local charities and good causes that are based in or benefit Renfrewshire and we are proud to be a part of that.
