One new building, two new cleaning contracts and three new clients…

Last month, Spectrum started working in a new Edinburgh office complex, and it’s one we are all very excited about. The primary reason for our excitement is that it heralds the start of new contracts with two global organisations, FanDuel and Analog Devices.

Although they operate predominantly in North America, Edinburgh is the ancestral home of FanDuel, one of the great success stories in the Scottish Tech sector. Founded in Edinburgh in 2009, FanDuel’s mission is to give sports fans the chance to win every day, and create experiences that fans can’t wait to share with their friends.

To achieve this, they have created a unique company culture they are proud of, where wellbeing is a priority, something that is reflected in the office premises in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from Haymarket Train Station, the UK Collaboration Hub and HQ has been designed with flexibility and choice at the core to promote collaboration and hybrid working across our teams. Spread over three floors, it boasts a state-of-the-art gym, a ‘proper’ pool table/and or the latest tech, as well as a rooftop terrace with, in their opinion, one of the best views in town.

Spectrum is delighted to be working with such a successful and high-profile company to ensure their team enjoy the incredible office environment; we will be providing daily cleaning, hygiene and window cleaning services.

In conjunction with the FanDuel contract, we have also been awarded a contract with another tenant in their HQ building, the global semiconductor leader Analog Devices.

Analog Devices bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. ADI combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitised factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world. With revenue of more than $12 billion in 2023 and approximately 26,000 people working alongside 125,000 global customers globally, ADI ensures today’s innovators stay ahead of what’s possible.

For Anaog, Spectrum will provide daily cleaning, hygiene and window cleaning services.

These contracts are interesting because we are supporting the renowned English-based firm Pareto FM in delivering the contract in Edinburgh. Pareto has an impressive track record and is currently one of the fastest-growing companies in FM, with a growth rate of 75% in year 8. They were also named number 51 in the Sunday Times Fastrack in 2021. They also like and align with the label given to them by business analysts as ‘the disrupter in FM’. Their mission is to create a revolution in the workplace sector and help shape a new age of work.

Picture of Rebecca BellSpeaking about the Edinburgh contracts, Spectrum’s Operations Director, Rebecca Bell, said: “Needless to say, we are delighted to be adding two more names to our growing list of global businesses. FanDuel needs little introduction to the business community in Scotland; after all, it is one of the biggest success stories for a tech start-up in recent years, and it all happened in Scotland!

“Likewise, Analog is another global presence; we are equally delighted to be working with them to support their team in Edinburgh.

“We are also excited about delivering our services for Pareto FM; they are a very forward-thinking company with an impressive track record. We have very similar values, and we are looking forward to delivering for them in Edinburgh.”
