This week is the start of Spectrum’s golfing season; we’re at the Betfred British Masters hosted by Danny Willett. It’s our first golfing event of what is shaping up to be a busy year for us.
This week’s event is at The Belfy, the venue for many great golfing moments. With such a great field assembled, we’re confident this year’s event is throw up some spectacular moments and great drama.
Spectrum will be providing a full range of services on and off the course. We provide cleaning in all public and hospitality catering areas and areas set aside for players, officials and press. On-course, we will be responsible for litter picking, waste management, and maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
Speaking about the British Masters, Operations Director Rebecca Bell said: “It’s really exciting to be at The Belfry this week. Although we’ve already done several events this year, the first golfing event always feels like the start of a new season for the big outdoor events.
“We have done a great deal of planning with the events team in preparation for the season ahead, and it’s nice to be here finally and putting all the preparatory work into practice.”
Our team is excited to be back at a major golf event; even though it is hard work, it is fun too, and the team often gets to meet some of the biggest names in golf. Coincidently, this week’s host, Danny Willett, took the time to have a picture taken with one of our team at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. We wish Danny all the best this week, as he competes and hosts the tournament.
