Preparations began early this week, with teams working throughout Hampden Park Stadium to make sure the venue is event ready for the Scottish League Cup Final. In the domestic football world, they don’t come any bigger than this; once again, the Old Firm meet in what is sure to be an exciting match – we wish both sides and their fans best wishes and look forward to a colourful spectacle.

This weekend’s football is the first big Final of the year, but we’ve already been at Hampden for the double-header League Cup semi-finals, and we’ve been working hard Tynecastle for Heart of Midlothian’s home games. So another year is well and truly underway for our Events Team. We have many events already on our schedule and many more under discussion. We will be bringing you updates about these as and when they happen.

The prospect of another busy year also leads us to reflect on what was achieved by the Events Team in 2022; it certainly was EVENTful.
