We are delighted to announce that our Employee of the Month for March winner is Kimberley White from Clan Haven in Aberdeen.

Kimberley started working with Spectrum on 15th December 2021 as a Cleaning Supervisor at Clan Haven, Aberdeen. Clan Haven is a fantastic facility run by Clan Cancer Support at Clan House. It has been created as a home-from-home bed and breakfast facility available to anyone affected by cancer who is attending or accompanying a friend or relative to Aberdeen hospitals. It comprises 27 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining facilities, and a large lounge area. Spectrum provides daily cleaning in all public areas and bedrooms.

As you can imagine, this type of environment requires dedicated staff who are empathetic with the patrons and other staff members, and Kimberly certainly meets all of these requirements.

Caroline Kane, Kimberley’s line manager, nominated her for the March award; here’s what she had to say about why she put her name forward. “l nominated Kimberley White at Clan Haven because she goes that extra mile for Spectrum and Clan. She’s friendly and welcoming, which is extremely important in her work environment. She accommodates all requests and is really consistent in her attitude.

“The client staff think very highly of her, as do her colleagues and me. I’m delighted that Kimberley’s hard work has been recognised; I feel she truly deserves the recognition”.
