Excitement is beginning to build in the Spectrum offices once again ahead of another awards final next week – The IoD Director of the Year Awards 2018.
This year’s glittering event takes place on Thursday 22nd March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow and we are delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Sara Speirs is a finalist at the event. Sara has been shortlisted for IoD Director of the Year – Medium Sized Businesses along with three other worthy finalists.
Of course, Sara is no stranger to the IoD Director of the Year Awards; she won the overall IoD Director of the Year Scotland Award in 2016 and followed that success when she was named runner-up at the National Awards ceremony in London in October 2016.
Speaking about the forthcoming awards, Sara said, “I’m delighted to be a finalist at the IoD Awards once again and slightly surprised that I have been named again so soon after 2016. However, the company has grown substantially since then and it is a fitting reward and recognition for the whole team at Spectrum for us to be featured in such at such a prestigious event. The quality of the finalists for these awards are always extremely high and all of the finalists would make worthy winners, so I’m just happy to be among them and looking forward to the night”.
