It seems a long time since these beautiful hot summer’s days when Hampden was bathed in the sunshine (and the occasional shower) whilst hosting some of the best and biggest names from the world of athletics.

Whilst it is a beautiful day again today, much has changed at Hampden since the summer. The stadium has been restored to its former glory as the home of Scottish football, and it looks better than ever.

This weekend it’s hosting the two Scottish League Cup Semi-Finals. Yesterday we witnessed a great game which saw Dundee United eventually come out on top against Aberdeen, well done to them and commiserations to Aberdeen.

Today, Rangers and Celtic will meet for the first time in three years to see who will earn the right to face Dundee United in the Final. It is surely one of the biggest Old Firm matches in many years.

It is great to be back at Hampden where we have enjoyed a long relationship with the venue and the management team. What a great testament to the venue that is can host such a variety of events at all times of the year.

Not only is our events team privileged to have been part of some of the biggest sporting events seen in Scotland, we have also cleaned up after some of the biggest names in show business such as, Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi and Take That.

We will be back for the Scottish League Cup Final on 15th March, regardless of the weather, we are sure it will be a tremendous spectacle worthy of such a magnificent venue.
