Last year, Spectrum won a cleaning contract with a global engineering business employing over 60,000 people worldwide and with an annual turnover of $15 billion. The contract provides cleaning, janitorial, washroom, consumables, and hygiene services at their office in Glasgow’s city centre. It is yet another global business added to our growing client portfolio and one we are delighted to work with.
We were doubly pleased when we were recently invited to discuss their Edinburgh premises, and we are delighted to report that we have now assumed responsibility for their presence in the East, too.
We have been busy with the mobilisation in Edinburgh, which has gone exceptionally well. The client has given some excellent feedback, saying of our team in the East: “Very on the ball. I was really impressed with them. They were really friendly, and they know exactly what I want in a “consider it done” mentality, which is the best attitude I can ask for.”
The client appreciated that we took time to support the TUPE staff through their training, job specification and the working environment, whilst still ensuring all cleaning was completed. She commented: “Neil, a TUPE cleaner, had no idea what was happening or what was expected of him, he’s a hard worker but had been thrown in at the deep end. I appreciated the additional time taken to support and encourage him and the rest of the staff.”
She also noted that she was “Chuffed with the response times” and remarked it was “night and day compared to their previous provider.”
