No sooner have we cleared up after AC/DC at Hampden Park on Sunday than we’re off to the Aberdeen Asset Scottish Open Championship at Gullane. The competition starts next Thursday, but we’re starting bright and early on Monday in preparation for the large crowds expected at this year’s event for both the practice and competition days.
It is the second consecutive year that we have been awarded the cleaning contract for the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open by The European Tour. We are also extending our relationship with the European Tour, having already provided the cleaning and waste management services at last year’s Ryder Cup matches at Gleneagles.
The contract will see us resume its responsibility for the maintenance of a clean environment for all public viewing areas, hospitality suites, officials’ offices, and public catering areas during practice and competition days.
Sara Speirs, Spectrum’s Managing Director, said: “We are extremely pleased and excited to win this contract with The European Tour for the second time. It’s testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who have established a reputation for expertise and excellence at outdoor events, that we have the opportunity at this year’s Scottish Open to further enhance this reputation.”
If you are attending the Scottish Open next week, look out for our staff, and even say hello to them, they are a friendly and hardworking bunch.
