Spectrum were back with a bang at the ROCCOs on Friday night as they were named winners in two of the three categories they reached as finalists at the ROCCO Awards 2022!
The night got off to the best possible start when the 500+ assembled guests heard Spectrum announced as winners of the very first award of the evening – The Rocco Award for Customer Excellence. We eagerly waited until the second half of the evening for the announcement of the two other categories – Family Business of the Year and Outstanding Performing Business >25 Employees. We’re delighted to announce that we won the ROCCO Award for Family Business of the Year.
Congratulations to Kibble Education and Care Centre, they won the Outstanding performing Business >25 Employees. It’s great to see so many Renfrewshire-based businesses performing so well, and well done to all of the finalists and winners at this year’s event.
Winning two awards at the ROCCO Awards was an excellent achievement for our team. The ROCCOs are the official awards of the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce; the awards night is a prestigious event that is well-established in the Scottish business calendar and celebrated its 18th year on Friday evening. Comedian and broadcaster Fred MacAulay entertained the audience with his humour as he guided us through the various awards in what turned out to be a brilliant night for the Spectrum team.
Speaking about the awards, Spectrum’s Managing Director said: “I’m delighted to be leaving with two awards tonight; getting nominations for three was fantastic, and you naturally hope to win one, but winning the Family Business of the Year and the Customer Service Award was a great result and will be a boost to the whole team at Spectrum.
“The ROCCO Awards are important to us; we are headquartered in Renfrewshire, so it is good to be recognised by the Chamber and the judges, all of whom are from other successful local businesses.
“It’s a lovely way to finish off what has been an exceptionally busy year for the company.”
Spectrum Operations Director Rebecca Bell added: “What a great night and a fabulous result for Spectrum. The whole team were delighted to be finalists in three categories. They’ll be even more delighted that we’ve succeeded in two, especially the one for Excellence in Customer Service, primarily due to their exceptional daily performance.
“It’s also well-earned recognition for all the hard work and commitment shown by the team throughout 2022 and will be a massive lift to them as we round off the year.”
This a fantastic achievement which reflects the consistent hard work and dedication to customer service from all at Spectrum.
