Excellent timing with this news – it gives our whole team a boost!

We are delighted to announce that Spectrum Service Solutions has been named a finalist in the prestigious IWFM Impact Awards 2022 in the ‘Team of the Year’ category.

The IWFM Impact Awards is the workplace and facilities management industry’s most prestigious event. The awards showcase outstanding best practices and ingenuity from an influential profession which touches many areas of life, including some of the most significant challenges facing economies and communities across the globe.

We are especially pleased to receive the news now because it is well-earned recognition for an extremely hard-working team during one of the busiest times of the year. Being named a finalist has provided a massive boost to the whole Team.

Over the past few weeks, the Spectrum Events team has provided a range of cleaning and facilities management services at several mass-audience events where the total number of attendees already exceeds 500,000 people!

We’ve cleaned up after Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher and Calvin Harris at Hampden Park Stadium and kept Glasgow Green clean and safe during the TRNSMT Festival. On the sporting front, we worked at the Renaissance Course in North Berwick during the Scottish Open, then quickly relocated the Team to St Andrews. Who could deny the Open Championship is one of the biggest and most memorable sporting events globally in 2022?

This week, we’ve moved South to Southport to work at Hillside Golf Club for the DP World Tour Cazoo Classic, so there is no let-up in the schedule for our dedicated Team.

And it doesn’t finish there; next week, we have the Hero Open back in St Andrews at the Fairmont. The following week the Team are at the Women’s British Open at Muirfield.

So, we’re sure you will agree the Spectrum Events Team are working hard, and today’s news has provided the perfect tonic to give them the energy they need to deliver the consistently high standards these major events demand.

Spectrum’s Operations Director spoke about the Awards: “I am thrilled that we have been named a Finalist at the IWFM Impact Awards. The whole team has been exceptional over the Summer. We have worked at some of the biggest events in the country over the past few weeks and arguably the biggest globally last week at The Open Championship. These nominations are very welcome because they acknowledge the efforts being put in by everyone to deliver excellent services in sometimes very challenging conditions.”

The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the IWFM Impact Awards 2022 on 17 October at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. We will keep you posted about the result, but for now, we are delighted to be Finalists.
