We are delighted to announce the first winners of our Employees of the Month this year: Brenda Bradie and Kimberly Nicol, who picked up the January 2026 awards.
Brenda Bradie started working with Spectrum in February 2021 as a cleaning operative. Spectrum’s Head of Operations, Gemma Pollock, was delighted to nominate Brenda, saying: “Brenda has worked for Spectrum for 4 years, and most recently she has been supporting East ops team, with mobilisations, short notice absence cover, and holiday cover. Brenda is a pleasure to work with. She has a very hands-on approach, maintains excellent standards, is confident, and integrates extremely well into any team she joins.”
Our client, SAS Livingston, mirrored Gemma’s thoughts in some recent positive feedback; they remarked, “Brenda is a lovely woman who is great at completing her tasks to a high standard. I just wanted to highlight the good work that she is doing.”
Kimberly Nicol began working with Spectrum in September 2020 as a cleaning operative; she is now a Supervisor at a contract in Poniel, a position she has held since June 2025. Spectrum Area Manager, John Carlyle, nominated Kimberly, stating, “Kimberly has recently been promoted to Supervisor at her main site. Since this promotion, Kimberly has made good progress in making the site her own. She consistently receives great feedback from the client and is highly regarded throughout the site. Kimberly has recently received some new machinery on site, and she has taken it in her stride. She uses it each night, targeting areas that need it most, and has made some noticeable improvements to the floor.
“Kimberly is also extremely flexible, and she will consistently go above and beyond to ensure her sites are covered, coming in at short notice and staying on to ensure everything is done and we are delivering the best service possible.
“I believe Kimberly is a great ambassador for Spectrum; she embodies all of our values and always acts in Spectrum’s best interests.
Indeed, we believe both Branda and Kimberly are true ambassadors for the Spectrum brand; their flexibility and willingness to exceed expectations have not only caught the eye of our management team but are also backed by exceptional client feedback.
