Sasha Muir – October

Sasha joined the Spectrum team almost seven years ago and has established herself as a key member of our daily cleaning team in Edinburgh City and a top performer in our events division.

Sasha’s always ready to undertake new challenges with a smile and a joke; her bright personality and friendly banter are what makes Sasha who she is. Being an extremely hard worker, Sasha gets her head down and tackles the toughest of tasks with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Working closely with the client team at the Scottish Ambulance Service, Sasha is a valued member of the team and part of the SAS family on site. Receiving regular invites to clients’ events and party nights speaks volumes of her dedication to Spectrum and SAS East client site.

Sasha always makes herself available to help out when she can and goes above and beyond to go the extra mile to get the job done. She is a real Spectrum Star.

Sasha, thank you for everything you do for Spectrum and the client.

Brenda Bradie – November

Brenda Bradie joined Spectrum at the Mass Vaccination Centre in the Pyramids Business Park when it opened in February 2020. Since then, Brenda has established herself as a dedicated member of the NHS and Spectrum team.

Brenda was nominated by her colleagues in the NHS cleaning team, noting that she was so helpful and supportive, which made her invaluable in their eyes.

She is always willing to go the extra mile; Brenda regularly puts herself forward for any overtime if she can help.

Brenda applied to work at some of our Edinburgh based events. She was part of the initial cleaning team at Tynecastle, which closed to supporters for around a year due to COVID-19. Since then, she has also been involved with our Golf Events; last year, she supported us at the Women’s British Open, ensuring all the Player’s Areas were maintained to a high standard at all times.

Her work ethic and excellent standards were evident from the beginning.

Her manager, Sharon Miller, said about her Spectrum Superstar award: “Brenda goes above and beyond what she has to do when doing any job and always with a big smile.

“She is a real Spectrum Star, and I am glad to have her at Spectrum. We are lucky to have her, and it’s fitting to recognise her hard work, dedication, impeccable timekeeping and attendance, which speaks for itself.”

Audrey Ford – December

Audrey has been a valued team member at Lothian Bus Company since she started working for Spectrum back in July 2020.

Her excellent attitude to work and the high standards she set herself have made her a firm favourite with the client and Spectrum.

Her manager Craig Lorimer said about Audrey: “Audrey has done everything I’ve asked and consistently goes above and beyond. She always willingly helps out at events and genuinely takes great pride in what she does”.
