Once again, we are doubly excited about our latest contract win announcement; this time, it’s with Filshill, the award-winning wholesaler!
Not only are they a market leader, they are headquartered in Renfrewshire. Naturally, all contract wins are welcome and exciting, but there’s something special about adding to our client portfolio in Renfrewshire, where it all began for Spectrum.
Spectrum will be providing the cleaning services for Filshill at their state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities at Westway Park in Renfrew. For Filshill, the move to Westway was crucial in helping them realise a 10-year vision. Westway is a state-of-the-art distribution centre with efficiency at the core of its design, created by the teams working in all the operational departments. The previous capacity in Hillington was circa 900k cases per month; their new facility has the optimum capacity of 2 million cases per month.
Sustainability is also a key element; the 120,400 sq ft warehouse has 400 sq/m of solar panels on the roof, utilises natural light, and has a genuine focus on getting to net zero. The move to the new facility prepares the way for ambitious growth for the company, which is approaching its 150th year.
When speaking about the contract, Rebecca Bell, Operations Director at Spectrum said: “We are thrilled to be working with Filshill in their fantastic new premises at Westway. It’s yet another long-established and well-respected local business, but one with geographical reach across all of Scotland and the North of England.
“It’s also good to work with another business with similar values to Spectrum; they embrace innovation and strive to be sustainable, and they are data-driven in their goal to maintain the highest possible standards of customer satisfaction.
“The team at Spectrum is excited about this contract, and we look forward to working with the Filshill team to provide the same level of service and efficiency that they deliver to their customers daily.”
