It’s difficult to believe we’re now at the end of May; it’s been an incredible 5 months at Spectrum, with some excellent new contract wins and the expansion of services to existing clients.

Winning new business from clients is always welcome; it not only indicates they are happy with the services we provide, it also means they are happy to trust us with additional work in other locations. A recent example of this is our appointment by John Dewar, the whisky blenders that produce ‘the world’s most awarded blended scotch’.

We already work with them at their major whisky maturation and blending complex at Poniel and their Westhorn Site at London Road, Glasgow. Now, we are providing cleaning services for their remarkable distillery in Aberfeldy, Perthshire.

Speaking about the extension of services to Aberfeldy, Rebecca Bell, CEO at Spectrum, said: “Needless to say, we are delighted to be working with Dewar’s in Aberfeldy, it is one of the world’s great whisky brands with a magnificent heritage dating back 180 years.

“However, I particularly like it when we win new work with existing clients, as do the rest of the team at Spectrum; it means we’ve been doing a great job for the client and delivering on our promises. The team working at the Poneil facility are a credit to us, and their hard work has led to this additional contract.
