This month’s winners of the Employee of the Month Awards are Daniel Sammeroff and Xiaodan Wang. As you will read below, both are worthy winners and true ambassadors for Spectrum.

Daniel Sammeroff is a returning employee who previously worked for Spectrum. We were delighted to welcome him back to the team in August 2024. Daniel is a Mobile Cleaning Operative based in the West; however, the nomination for Employee of the Month came from our Head of Operations, Gemma Pollock, for his work in the East!

Speaking about the nomination, Gemma said, “Daniel was tasked with helping out in the East region, where he was providing cover support.  He attended on time, and with an excellent attitude, he couldn’t do enough for us.  Feedback from our client teams also echoed this.  It was noted more than once that Daniel was very helpful.  He helped ensure the cleaning was of an exceptional standard and also supported the on-site team with store deliveries.”

Daniel’s nomination was also welcomed and fully endorsed by Helen Love, Regional Operations Manager in the West.

Xiaodan Wang began working with Spectrum in October 2022 at Lothian – Travel Hub, Shandwick Place. Her nomination came from both her Regional Manager, Katie Dodds and Head of Operations, Gemma Pollock.

Gemma stated, “Xiaodan has supported the East team with various deep cleaning tasks throughout October, and has continued to do so into November.  She has an eagerness to produce excellent standards, taking instructions well from our client on site.”

Katie Dodds added,  “I’m happy to nominate Xiaodan for her outstanding dedication and reliability. She consistently goes above and beyond by supporting the team. Her commitment, flexibility and positive attitude make a real difference to our team.”
