Over the last ten years, we have provided a cleaning, waste management, hygiene and janitorial service to some of the UK’s largest distribution facilities, some of which can employ over 1000 staff per shift and be over 1 million sq ft.
These distribution facilities, which are home to some of the largest online shopping retailers, are dynamic and busy environments. Therefore, training our staff becomes a high priority, and we work with our clients to deliver training which aligns directly with their ways of working.
In 2012, we made a significant investment as a business, purchasing the Innovise TimeGate and ServiceTrac software, which is a sophisticated Time & Attendance software which monitors the arrival and departure of all our staff. This software is particularly relevant to these types of large operations, where there are multiple shifts and large volumes of staff.
This market-leading software provides our clients with a transparent and auditable window into our service, and gives them the peace of mind that they are getting what they are paying for.
Our clients produce large quantities of mixed waste and we are responsible for streaming this waste into the appropriate receptacles to ensure the highest quantum of it is recycled. The importance of waste management cannot be overstressed, and we have been working with our clients to introduce lean management techniques which continually improve the service and ensure maximum efficiency.
