We’re excited to bring you the news that DF Concerts & Events has awarded us a three-year contract for cleaning and waste management.
DF Concerts & Events bring the best live music and life-affirming experiences to music fans across Scotland, year after year and, believe it or not, they are the 31st* busiest promoter in the world and 14th** in Europe!
If you are a concert or festival goer, you’ve most likely been to at least one of their events, even if you didn’t realise it. For DF, it’s about promoting the event and the acts rather than themselves. Since 1994, they have been forming and shaping the festival landscape across Scotland as the founding partners of T in the Park and holding many more music festivals since then, including TRNSMT, Connect, Country to Country Glasgow and Summer Sessions in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee.
What’s even more impressive is the list of artists who can thank DF Concerts & Events for promoting their first shows; global stars such as Paolo Nutini, Gerry Cinnamon, Lewis Capaldi, Amy Macdonald and Calvin Harris all appreciate the influence, professionalism and promotional power they bring to the Scottish music scene. Add to this the astonishing array of stars who have enjoyed their first shows to Scottish crowds at one of their events. You’ll see names like The Killers, Fred again.., Radiohead, Amy Winehouse, Robbie Williams, Lizzo, Sam Fender, Adele, Florence & the Machine, Lana Del Rey and Coldplay.
DF Concerts & Events is undoubtedly the No.1 company in the country for concerts and festivals, and we are delighted to have the good work we’ve done with them in the past recognised with the award of a three-year contract.
It’s excellent news for Spectrum as a business, but it’s also very exciting for everyone in the events teams; they love working at these events because even though it’s long hours and hard work, they get a very close up experience of what happens behind the scenes and these massive events, and they get to hear the artists!
