We are pleased to announce that the Employees of the Month for March 2025 are Shirley Reid and Deborah Fish. We are sure you’ll agree both are deserving winners and great ambassadors for Spectrum.

Shirley Reid started with Spectrum in September 2023 at Edinburgh Zoo. She then moved into an Edinburgh City Centre cleaning role in September 2024.

Shirley was nominated by Jennifer McInnes, her Site Manager, and Gemma Pollock, who is Spectrum’s Head of Operations. Both were delighted that Shirley had been recognised with an Employee of the Month award; she has clearly impressed them with her contribution and work ethic. Gemma commented about Shirly, saying: “After transitioning from Edinburgh Zoo, Shirley has gained excellent knowledge of our client’s requirements. She consistently produces excellent standards and liaises professionally with our internal and client teams. She is a true asset to us.” Jennifer added: “Shirley has gone above and beyond regularly and is always happy and courteous within the workplace.”

Deborah Fish started with Spectrum in June 2023 at WH Malcolm High Bay warehouse in Linwood, Renfrewshire. Regional Operations Manager Helen Love and Area Manager Lynne Graham nominated her. Speaking about why Deborah was nominated, Lynne said: “Debbie has been working at a range of the WH Malcolm sites, always delivering excellent cleaning standards at each.  Debbie’s got a fantastic attitude and strong work ethic; she frequently lends a hand to her colleagues and our client’s staff”.

Thank you to both Shirley and Debbie; your hard work and dedication are noted and appreciated by the clients, your colleagues and the management at Spectrum. Both of you are a credit to the company and worthy winners of this month’s Employees of the Month Award.
