It’s always great to win contracts with new clients. Not only does it support the growth of the business, but it’s also the start of a journey and, hopefully, a long-term relationship with the client. Working with any new client involves a familiarisation process, not only with the premises but also with the people.
We know the importance of solid business relationships built on open and honest two-way communication. That’s why we invest so much time at the outset of a contract to ensure we know the tasks and what is expected of us, and the client knows what to expect from us.
So, you can understand why winning and starting a new contract is exciting for the team at Spectrum. However, there’s something even more satisfying than a contract win; having a contract renewed is particularly rewarding. It suggests that the initial investment in building the relationships and the subsequent delivery of our services has been truly appreciated by our clients. It also provides a welcome boost to the team members working with the client.
So, we are delighted to announce several contract renewals, which are greatly appreciated by the whole team at Spectrum.
Global customer services outsourcing giants, Ascensos have recently awarded Spectrum a new contract to provide cleaning, waste management and consumables services at their campuses in Motherwell and Clydebank.
It all began for Ascensos in Motherwell in 2013, and we’ve been delighted to support them there since they opened their doors. The Motherwell Campus employs around 800 people and operates 24/7. In Clydebank, they also operate 24/7 with around 600 people, so the contract keeps us busy! It’s been a privilege to see the enormous growth of the business up close, and we look forward to witnessing even greater success over the next five years.
We are also pleased to report that John Dewar & Sons has renewed our contract at London Road, Glasgow and Poniel in the Scottish Borders.
Dewar’s is one of the best-known whisky brands in the world, and we are delighted that they have entrusted us with cleaning, waste management, janitorial and consumables at both sites. The Spectrum team working at Dewar’s are delighted with the news, and we look forward to the year ahead with them.
Sticking with the drinks trade, another giant in the whisky industry, William Grant & Sons, has renewed our contract. Spectrum provides a full range of services in offices, warehouses, production areas and the visitor centre for William Grant. We have worked with them at their sites in Bellshill, Cumbernauld and Dufftown for many years, and we’re proud of our relationship with one of the world’s leading drinks companies. We look forward to continuing the partnership.
Finally, it is equally exciting when an existing client expands and appoints Spectrum to provide services at new premises. That’s what’s happening with Medigold Health.
Medigold Health is one of the UK’s leading occupational health and wellbeing solutions providers. We have been working with them for some time at their Glasgow clinic on Alexandra Parade, and we are delighted that they have chosen us to provide cleaning services at their new clinic in Dundee.
We wish them well with opening their new premises and look forward to working with them in the future.
Of course, contract renewals wouldn’t happen without the exceptional effort made by our staff working on the client’s premises and the team that supports them back in our head office. We want to thank all of them for their continued hard work. Without them, we would not be celebrating these successful and ongoing relationships.
