Spectrum is delighted to have been chosen as the cleaning and waste management services provider for the European Golf Team Championships during the 7th – 12th August at Gleneagles this year. The event is part of the multi-sport Glasgow 2018 European Championships programme, which Spectrum will be providing services for across a variety of venues throughout Glasgow to ensure the Championships are clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.
Gleneagles provides world class golfing facilities including the PGA National Golf Academy and 3 championship courses which will host 3 medal events, 5 competition days and 64 golfers across the duration of the event.
The 2018 European Golf Team Championships guarantees to be a very special event for golf fans set in the beautiful surroundings of the iconic Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course within the Perth and Kinross area. The event will involve competitions for women and men as well as a new mixed event, making golfing history as Scotland reinforces its name as the international home of the sport. Millions are expected to watch the Championships where we are certain memorable highlights will be created at one of the most prestigious golfing locations in the world. Spectrum’s involvement is therefore imperative as Gleneagles is showcased to the world at its very best.
Our involvement in the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles means we are ready to help stage another one of the world’s largest golfing events this year. We fulfilled a similar role at this event 4 years ago, and are excited to be welcomed back to provide cleaning and waste management services for yet another large-scale event.
